Workshop Description

Have you ever experienced a “difference in opinion”?  What about an “ethical dilemma”?  On a fairly frequent basis, most people face these situations that are simply a conflict of values between themselves and another individual or group. This conflict can’t be avoided, but it can be minimized by understanding how to clearly see others’ points of view and to know what internally motivates them. Once you learn to see the world from their perspective, you can improve communication with others.

If productivity is what interests you, keep in mind that every member of your organization is motivated to win, but each runs the race for different reasons.  Motivation is the primary driver for increasing individual productivity.  When leaders select and direct based on unique motivational needs, maximum results are achieved.

The Your Attitude is Showing Workshop was designed to help people communicate and understand each other better.  This workshop will focus on helping you clearly see how to look at the world through someone else’s eyes. This understanding will allow you to discover how to improve communication based on the theory of values and attitudes.

Workshop Outline

The ‘Your Attitude is Showing’ Workshop is a live half-day or full-day workshop and focuses on a current business challenge. The program outline consists of:

• Your Personal Interests, Attitudes and Values report
• Connection between Attitudes and Behaviors
• Six Values/Attitudes that Guide Your Actions
• Understanding Each Attitude
• What Do Your Top Two Attitudes Say About You?
• Recognizing Others’ Attitudes

Each participant will take an online Workplace Motivators assessment before the workshop.  The workshop itself will take place at your work location and consists of small group exercises, discussions, Powerpoint presentation, and guided discoveries….all facilitated by Coach Caroline Smith.
