Workshop Description
In order to understand your relationships with other people, you must first understand yourself. Achievers throughout history have one thing in common–they know themselves. This means they don’t underestimate what they can do, they don’t sell themselves short and they know their own limitations. More importantly, by understanding themselves, they are able to develop plans to overcome their shortcomings and take full advantage of their strengths to improve their communication with others.
The Dynamic Communication Workshop was designed to help people win and achieve a greater degree of success in life and work. This workshop will open your eyes to a new way of viewing yourself and others and will allow you to discover how to communicate more effectively based on the DISC behavioral model.

Workshop Objectives
- Recognize the different behavioral styles and understand how they promote or frustrate clear communication and relationship development
- Explore how behavioral styles support and impede progress and achievement of organizational goals
- Become aware of your own behavioral style and how it affects how others perceive you and interact with you
- Understand your personal bias towards certain behavioral styles and how this impacts your success
- Understand how the composite styles of the organization affect its outcomes
- Learn how to leverage this knowledge to greater personal and organizational success
Workshop Outcomes
After participating in this workshop, you will be better able to:
- Understand the benefits of applying a behavioral communication model
- Understand your own behavioral design
- Recognize, understand, and appreciate others’ behavioral designs
- Adapt your behaviors for enhanced communication, understanding, and relationships
- Identify behavioral styles by observing tone of voice, words, body language and pace
- Learn tools for assessing behavioral styles and gain an in-depth working knowledge of them
- Develop techniques for leveraging the strengths of your team members and employing new communication techniques between sessions
- Have a greater confidence in your ability to create more cooperative and productive relationships and avoid costly misunderstandings and conflict
Workshop Outline
The Dynamic Communication Workshop is a live half-day or full-day workshop and focuses on a current business challenge. The program outline consists of:

Each participant will take an online DISC assessment before the workshop. The workshop itself will take place at your work location and consists of small group exercises, discussions, Powerpoint presentation, and guided discoveries….all facilitated by Coach Caroline Smith.
